The Public Health Research Grants (PHRG) Awards (Cycle 4) for 2021/22 are finalized and the results have been compiled.
The successful projects are:
1) “Effect of Lifestyle factors on Metabolically Healthy Obesity (MHO) and Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) among adults residing in a semi-urban area of Lahore, Pakistan” – submitted by Dr. Saleem Pervaiz (SIHS)
2) “Reform Impacts: Analyzing how merit-based medical admissions have affected doctor outcomes in Pakistan” – submitted by Dr. Hadia Majid (LUMS) & Dr. Fatima Aqeel (Colgate University, USA)
3) “Design and Synthesis of Electron-Deficient Fluorinated Sulphonamides and Evaluation of their Antibacterial Efficacy” – by Dr. Ghayoor Abbas Chotana (LUMS)
We congratulate the successful teams heartily. The SHF PHRG Review Committee was highly impressed with the quality of these submissions and their clarity of thought.
